SELF PORTRAIT XXXII- Here is just me playing with photoshop, trying to come up with something unique or at least stylistic. It's ok, just needs a bit more cleaning up I suppose. Hey, it's an abstract.
Self Portrait XXII- Just a boring self portrait done on a abstracted/photoshoped background. I like the texture and the impressionistic feel. But it could use something else. what? I do not know.
SELF PORTRAIT XIV- Ok I've seen to may black and white films, however as vintage as this is I wish I had better lighting, to dark and and light in this pic. Costume worked well even though they will shortly become curtains.
SELF PORTRAIT XIII- Ok I was going for an abstract surreal sort of feel, I rather like this, even though I do wish I had some other type of self portraits to put in this. It is little to dramatic, and lacks some sophiscation, esp. with my face being so elongated but it does have mood to it.
SELF Portrait XII- Ok this it so to romanatic for my taste, but I was just playing around with photoshop. Hey, if I ever but out a "World's Cheesest Love Songs" album, I'll have a cover? Or not, anyway, it is what it is, 'asi, asi'.
Self Portrait IX- I really don't like this as I should have turned my head more but this is just me working on my photoshop skills. I like the lighting, just need to work more on compostion.
Abstract Self Portrait- Just some abstract work, hoping to make some paintings based on this type of photoshopped colors and such.
There is no numerical sense to these, just be aware I am having to repost and repost all the time. It seems ridculous. Perhaps I'll strat a new blog on an another site. The lighting is a little bad, but it works some. Even though I hate my eyebrows, but that is just vanity speaking.
I really don't get why I keep having to go back an repost, this seems rather ridiculous all the time I do mroe editing on here then I do actual work with photos. Anyway here just a simple photo of me, looking a little tired but nothing new with that.
I entitle this one "Among the Fire Leaves", early this fall I scanned a handful of leaves from what is commonly known as fire bush. I used this scan in several other images but mainly for texture. However in other images the leaves were lost due to the fact I was required to have so many images in composition. Dorky, to ruin what can be simple and straight forward to add good texture and pattern to a simple portrait.
This is sort of creepy but I've always had that witchey/gypsy look. Darn stereotypes. I hope though to work this one into a painting, abstract of course.
